Steve Rever...the Man, the Legend...achieved instant Mohawk Immortality by delivering on the challenge to make it on the Wings, Etc. Wall of Flame. While there had been talk by several members of the team, when crunch time came...Steve was the only one to deliver. Most held out little hope in the early going, he was stumbling a little on Wing #3, but he seemed to turn a real corner on wing #7. "I'm not sure I could have made it without the encouragement of Coach Ferrill," Steve explained shortly after his incredible comeback from early struggles with Wings #3 & #4, "his constant reminders about cold drinks proved a real inspiration."
