Colby Luttrell was the lone Mohawk to be named to the State-Journal Area All Star team. Colby will compete in a double-header contest on Sunday, June 13th at Lanphier.  No Mohawks have been named to the team in the previous two seasons. Congrats to Colby!

Ryan King finished his run in the hitting derby with a score of 33, including an opporiste field shot. He tied for 6th in the field of 16 players from around the state.  The top 5 moved on with a score of 67 by Ty Milner of Rochester winning it all.  Congrats to Ryan.

The 6-5 win over Tri-City gained the Mohawks a share of the MSM title with Edinburg. The Title is the 6th for the Mohawks in the last 9 seasons.

Ryan King & Colby Luttrell were chosen 1st team All-MSM Conference.  Jeremy Peat & William McWard were chosen to the 2nd Team MSM.  All-Conference selections reflect team success...if we didn't have success as a team, there would be no All-Conference selections.  Great job Mohawks.

The records page has been updated for the year...several players have recorded stellar accomplishments either this season or for their career.  You can find the records page under records and awards.

Congrats to the following who gained Century Club statis this season.  William McWard (hits), Ryan King (Hits, Runs, Pitching SO's) and Colby Luttrell (Hits, Runs, RBI and Pitching SO's).  You can find the Century Club by following the records and awards link on the left.  Colby's 120 SO for this season is a team record for a season.

Ryan King scored a sectional high 50 points in the hitting derby on Saturday @ LLCC.  He moves on to the state finals on Friday at Lanphier along with his personal pitcher Coach Ferrill. In blowing away his competition (next highest was 31), Ryan socked two out of the Lincolnland park, including one that sailed directly over the left-centerfield scoreboard.  Colby Luttrell finished 2nd in last year's competition, but gave the spot to Ryan for his senior year. Ryan attributed his success to his weightlifting, but Coach M is giving at least part of the credit to the quality BP provided by Coach Ferrill.  Ryan moves on to compete against the winners of the 16 sectional state-wide on Friday following the 11:00 game at Lanphier.
