Memorial Day Flags
The Mohawk Baseball team participated in a Memorial Day tradition of placing flags on the graves of veterans prior to participating in the Regional Championship game on Saturday, May 24th. The Morrisonville American Legion provides flags to honor those who have served in military during their lifetime, and these flags are put in place on Saturday of the Memorial Day weekend. Nearly the entire squad was on hand, and with other volunteers, were able to complete the task with plenty of time to spare before beginning the game. Several boys also assisted in locating the graves of loved ones for visitors to the cemetary that morning.
Over 300 graves at the Morrisonville Cemetery, which is located one mile west of town, are decorated each year. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the great sacrifices made that provide us with the priviledges enjoyed by all Americans. Additional photos HERE.

Memorial Day Flags At Cemetery
The Mohawk Baseball team will take part in placing flags on the graves of veterans at the Morrisonville Cemetery on Saturday, May 24th as part of Memorial Day Ceremonies. With graduation the night before, and a Regional Championship being played in Morrisonville that afternoon, we'll be jugling plenty of activity. While this is NOT required, the more players, the better we can accomplish the work. We'll meet early on Saturday morning, timing will be announced as we close in on the actual date.

Coach Ferrill Completes Exterior of Dugout
Coach Ferrill completed the siding portion of the visitor's dugout work, spending a sizeable portion of last weekend on the project (in addition to 4 hours @ Litchfield). The dugout is nearly complete as this point, in time for the majority of our 2014 season. Thanks to Steve Brown for kicking off the project with the removal of much of the old dugout, and to Mark for his tenacity in completing the project in the middle of all his other responsibilities. Mike Bost and Charlie Ferrill also provided key assistance with the framing and roof. Thanks Mark and to all those who helped!
