Baseball Trip

Here is some information on the trip this weekend. We will be leaving Morrisonville High school at 6:30am. Please be on time so we can leave at 6:30. We will make a pick up stop in Raymond at the High school around 6:45am. Again, please be on time and ready to leave. We will be stopping for breakfast at a McDonald's somewhere between home and Winfield. We will play at Winfield HS at 10am, varsity followed by JV. After the game will likely stop to eat somewhere close before driving to Kansas City. We will go straight to the hotel and get checked in. There is a Water park in the hotel. It is $12 to get in and will be an option for Saturday evening. We may also go to Joe's BBQ or the Legend's shopping center. Sunday we will plan to eat at 11 at Arthur Bryant's BBQ or somewhere close by. The Royal's game starts at 1:15pm. We will park the bus at the hotel and walk to the game. Congratulations!!

Congrats to Tanner Millburg and Bryce Webb for advancing to the FFA State Competetion. Tanner won the District 3 FF Proficiency Award in turf Grass Management and Bryce won Agriculture Sales last night. They will both advance to the State competition on March 24th at the U of I in Champaign. Good Luck to you both!!

Red Team Schedule Update

The link for the Red Team schedule is up to date. It is under the Mohawk Schedule and Results link. It is the most current schedule we have for the Red Team. Some new dates have been added to the concession stand list. Please take a look and sign up with myself, Coach Ferrill, or Teri Deal.

Baseball begins today!! Practice starts today after school. Hope everyone is ready to go! Don't forget about the parent meeting after practice tonight in the gym at Mville.

Game Day Tickets

The Game Day tickets went home with the boys today. Be on the look out for friendly Mohawk baseball players and yellow tickets. These tickets are a great fundraiser for the team. All players benefit when they sell tickets. They are only $5 a ticket and you get a chance to win everyday the Mohawks play. The winner is picked from the pick 3 little lotto each evening. Game Day Triple Play

Game Day tickets are here and will be distributed to the players later this week. These Game day tickets are a great fundraiser for the players and Mohawk Baseball. Larry Boston has always been a big help in selingl these tickets. He is even listed in Century Club for selling over 100 tickets a season over the last several seasons. While Larry did not want to handle the tickets this year he has been a HUGE help in getting them sold. He made contact to those who have bought in the past from him. The response has been great so far. Thank you Larry Boston. If you see him please be sure to thank him for his help in raising funds for the Mohawk Baseball team.

Hello, Mohawk Baseball fans!

Bob has handed over the reins to the website and Lela is behind the wheel now, so please hang on. It will most likely start out a little bumpy. But I promise to figure it out and make this work. Look for updates here and on the Mohawk Baseball Facebook page. Bob took great pride in this website and the more I get into it the more I realize how much time and work he put into it. It is still a work in progress but if you see anything that needs a major facelift please feel free to email me lferrill@mohawks.net. The schedule is as current as can be at this point. There is a link at the bottom of the page that allows access to a considerable portion of recent Mohawk baseball history. The Archives link will take you to past Mohawk seasons just as we left them following the season. It might be worth the time to take a walk down memory lane...there will be some non-functioning links, but there will still be plenty to explore. Last year's season has just been added to the list...enjoy!
